Check out my FREE JSON-LD structured data/schema generator. For the moment, the tool only handles LocalBusiness, FAQPage, and Article schema, but all you have to do is input the fields specific to your business and page, and the tool will give you a validated schema output. Make sure to check against the Structured Data Testing Tool and the Rich Snippets Testing Tool!

Free JSON-LD Schema Generator

Most Schema Generators Skip the Details

Most free schema tools spit out a template, swap in your business name, and call it done. Google doesn’t care about “close enough.” One missing required field, one malformed quote, one empty array where a string should be, and your rich results just don’t show up, and you’ll get error messages in Google Search Console.

Structured data is JavaScript code (JSON-LD specifically). It should be treated like code where the output is validated, tested, and built to specifications required. This is exactly what my free tool does. Give it a shot below.

How It Works

How the Schema Markup Generator Works

1

Pick Your Schema Type

Local Business for your homepage or location pages, FAQ Page for any page with Q&A content, Article for blog posts and guides.

2

Fill In Your Details

Business info, hours, ratings, questions and answers, author and publisher info — whatever the schema type calls for. Optional fields stay optional; nothing gets forced into the output.

3

Copy, Paste, Verify

Drop the generated code into your page’s <head> inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag, then run the live URL through Google’s Rich Results Test to confirm it’s reading clean.

FAQ

Schema Markup Generator FAQ

Will this pass Google’s Rich Results Test?
+

Yes — every schema type in this tool is built to current schema.org and Google guidelines, and the generator won’t let incomplete or invalid markup reach the output. That said, passing validation doesn’t guarantee a rich result will display; Google still decides that case by case.

What schema types does this support?
+

Local Business (with support for 15+ specific business types like Roofing Contractor, Electrician, Plumber, etc.), FAQ Page, and Article/BlogPosting. More types may get added over time.

Do I need to know how to code to use this?
+

No. Fill in the form fields, copy the generated code, paste it into your page’s <head>. If your site runs on WordPress, your developer (or a plugin like Code Snippets) can drop it in in under five minutes.

Do I have to give you my information to use it?
+

No. It runs entirely in your browser — no form submissions, no data collected, nothing sent anywhere.

What’s the difference between Local Business, FAQ, and Article schema?
+

Local Business schema tells Google who you are, where you are, and when you’re open — it powers map packs and business info panels. FAQ schema turns your Q&A content into expandable dropdowns right in the search results. Article schema helps blog posts and guides show up with images, headlines, and publish dates in article-style search cards.
